How hair removal works
For effective and safe hair removal, we do not rely on a single method, but on a comprehensive range of lasers. Depending on the hair colour, hair thickness, skin type and body region, we select the appropriate technology.
Our practice is equipped with all three key laser systems that are relevant in modern hair removal: Diode, Alexandrite and Nd:YAG lasers. This means that we can really treat any initial situation - from very light-coloured hair to dark skin types.
The laser energy is directed through the hair into the hair root where it is converted into heat. This permanently inhibits hair growth without damaging the surrounding skin. Different wavelengths are used depending on the skin and hair type:
- Diode laser (DiolazeXL®) are particularly suitable for darker hair and larger areas of the body.
- Alexandrite laser (DEKA Motus PRO) offer very high efficacy for lighter skin types and finer hair.
- Nd:YAG laser (Fotona® SP Dynamis Pro and DEKA Motus PRO) enable safe treatment even for darker skin types and more pigmented skin.
Thanks to integrated cooling systems and precise energy control, the treatments are both effective and gentle on the skin. Suitable for almost all areas of the body - from the face and underarms to the bikini line, legs, back and chest.
For hair that cannot be treated with laser - such as light-coloured, white or very fine hairs - we also use needle epilation. A fine, sterile needle is guided along the hair canal to the root of the hair, which is then cauterised with an electrical impulse. The hair can then be permanently removed. The method is suitable for all skin types and is particularly precise, even on the face.
