Pimples come and go - but unsightly acne scars often remain. These are particularly troublesome on the face, back or décolleté. Today, acne scars can be minimised or even almost completely removed using modern procedures.
Causes
Acne scars are caused by an inflammatory reaction in the sebaceous glands. If an excretory duct becomes blocked - usually due to excessive keratinisation - the sebum builds up. If the blackhead ruptures, bacteria penetrate and promote inflammation. The body tries to repair the damaged tissue - this can lead to irregular collagen formation, which leaves visible scars.
The scar shapes range from small depressions and sunken areas to bulging or keloid scars. So-called pimple marks (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) also occur frequently - especially on darker skin types.

Treatments
Morpheus8®
This state-of-the-art method combines deep-acting microneedling with radio frequency. The fine needles penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and apply targeted heat impulses. This activates the formation of new collagen and visibly improves the skin structure - ideal for deeper scars and uneven skin texture.
CO₂ laser
Targeted heat is used to remove old skin cells and trigger regeneration processes. The skin is stimulated to regenerate and collagen production is increased at the same time. The result: smoother, firmer skin with refined scar edges.
Microneedling
Fine needles specifically irritate the uppermost layer of skin, which stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The procedure is particularly suitable for flatter scars or accompanying acne.
Biorevitalisation
The skin is revitalised with finely dosed hyaluronic acid, vitamins and other active ingredients. The treatment supports regeneration and improves elasticity - ideal as a complementary measure for scarred skin.
Fotona® SP Dynamis Pro
A particularly precise procedure with two laser systems (Er:YAG and Nd:YAG) that specifically breaks down scar tissue and builds up new skin structures. Suitable for all types of scars - even on sensitive skin. Just a few sessions usually result in significantly smoother skin.
Fractional laser
The fractional laser applies finely divided micro-pulses to the skin and stimulates the tissue to renew itself from within. This creates new collagen fibres that lift sunken scars and smooth the skin structure. The procedure is particularly suitable for irregular scars and leads to a visible refinement of the skin texture.
